Price Quote
Price quotes are confirmed in writing (this can be an email, DM, or text message) with the client and can be withdrawn or adjusted by the designer at any point until the welcome packet is emailed.
Price quotes are for the described work only and any additional work during the project - if agreed to by the designer - will be subject to an additional fee. I will notify you the price of the additional work before starting.
By accepting the price the client agrees that they can pay at least that amount. There should be room in a client’s budget for additional fees such as additional work or late fees.
If the designer is working on an hourly fee, the minimum time that will be charged is 1 hour.
Time Scale and Communication
The start date and maximum time scale for the project will be given before starting. There will be a timeline of when the client can expect major milestones of the project. As we work through the timeline the client needs to approve each milestone in a timely fashion. Each step of the design process builds off of each other, therefore communication is key to keep the process moving.
Communication will happen over email. From two days before the start date through the completion date, the client will have a maximum of a 24 hours response time via email. If a client would like a 'reminder’ text message or DM when an email is sent that should be established when signing the contract. Every 24 hours that a client does not respond, a 10% additional fee of the total amount of the project is added to the final invoice.
If I do not hear anything from the client within 72 hours of the last email sent, the project is either canceled or will be moved to a later date. As we are working from a timeline this would cause everything to run late, which postpones another client’s start date. The deposit amount will not be refunded no matter where we are in the design process.
The end date of a project is not an absolute guarantee. The client agrees that no responsibility is passed onto the designer if this date is not met.
Payments, Refunds, and Cancelations
Half the fee of the total project cost is due to secure your booking. The second half is due at the completion of the project.
A client can cancel their booking 7 days before the start date of their project. The client will receive a 50% refund on their initial payment. They can expect their refund within 3 business days. The refund will be given using the same method of payment they used for their initial payment.
If I need to cancel a project the client will receive a full refund within three business days.
A client will have 30 days from when the invoice is issued to pay the full amount. After the 30 days, there will be a 5% fee added each day the invoice is late, including weekends.
Tax is not included in my pricing for printing quotes. On a client’s final invoice there will be 6.625% tax on the total amount of the printed materials added to the final payment as per New Jersey State Law.
Revisions and Extra Work
The designer is not liable for any mistakes or faults in the final designs and it’s the responsibility of the client to ensure all of their work and any information supplied is correct.
The designer is not responsible for any legal issues that may arise within the content of the work, including but not limited to copyright issues.
The rights to the project remain with the designer, any design work including, but not limited too: drafts, sketches, and final designs, cannot be sold on or used for any alternative purpose other than agreed by the designer.
No individual besides the designer is granted the right to alter the final design work in any way. Until the final payment has been made, the client has no usage rights to any design work.
Designer Responsibility
The designer does not guarantee that any deliverables will be profitable or will result in the desired outcome of the client.
The designer is not responsible for any changes to the clients business, including but not limited too: a change in the number of sales, a change of target audience, or any changes to the business income or workload, as a result of the design work.
Social Media
The designer is allowed to post the process and final designs of your project on social media. If this is something that the client does not want they should express that before the start date.
Existing clients
My book is always open for existing clients. They do not have to fill out the brand inquiry form. They will receive a date of when I can work on another aspect of their brand.
Pricing can alter between a rate per deliverable or an hourly fee of $40 an hour depending on what the client would like done.
I appreciate the relationship I have with my clients,
Thank you for choosing me!
